Calico Rose Studio is based in the UK and aims to despatch all orders within 5 business days, a little longer for a large order or over a holiday period. Very often orders process faster than 5 days but we can’t guarantee a faster processing time.

Custom orders are often shipped within 5 business days from receipt of payment, though they could take up to 4 weeks if materials have to be sourced especially for you.  Rest assured that, once the design is finalised, I will be able to give you a despatch date for your custom order.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail.  Orders over £11.50 in value are shipped Tracked and Signed for in the UK, and for International orders, Tracked and Signed for, where this service is available, otherwise Tracked with confirmation of delivery.

For UK destinations an expedited shipping option is available: Royal Mail Special Delivery, with delivery guaranteed by 1 pm the next day.  Please note that this does not guarantee next day delivery on a Saturday.  This delivery option applies to shipping time only and does not reduce the processing time of your order.

Shipping is based on the actual postage cost plus a nominal packaging and handling fee.

Shipping for multiple orders will always be combined to keep your costs down.

Shipping is free for International customers on order values over £75

Credit card, debit card and PayPal.  All transactions are handled by PayPal.  (Credit and debit card transactions are handled as a one off, so you don’t have to have a PayPal account yourself in order to pay by credit card or debit card.)

Customers often like one of my existing designs but would prefer it in a different metal colour or with a different gemstone or pearl colour.  I can usually customise existing designs for you, if you wish.  Or, if you have a particular requirement, I will be happy to work with you to come up with a design from scratch.  Please feel free to contact me to discuss your custom requirements, without obligation.

Many bracelets in the Collection are adjustable between 16.5 cm and 20 cm (6 1/2 and 8 inches) approx.

For bracelets that are made to measure, please read the following information:

Take the wrist measurement above the wrist bones with a flexible tape measure or a string (not pulling tight). Let me have this measurement and I will add a small amount for comfort and ease of fastening the clasp.
If the bracelet is to be a surprise gift, or there is another reason why you can’t obtain the wrist measurement, please select from one of these standard sizes (this is for the bracelet, which is about 1/2 inch bigger than the wrist):
Small = 6 1/2 inch; medium = 7 inch, regular = 7 1/2 inch; large = 8 inch.  If you are really unsure, I can put an S clasp and extender chain on instead of the toggle clasp, which will enable the bracelet to be adjustable between 6 1/2 and 8 inches.

Due to the delicate nature of handmade jewellery it is strongly recommended that:

  • your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
  • you avoid contact with chemicals/oils such as when applying perfume or lotion to the skin.
  • allow perfume to dry before putting on your jewellery
  • you avoid exposure of your jewellery to water when swimming, showering and washing your hands.
  • you remove your jewellery when engaging in physical activities such as when working out
  • you store your jewellery in its linen pouch to help prevent tangling or breaking.
